I had a U.S. seller "forget" to include my antique letter with a small belgian .380 revolver here in January. Its been sitting in Customs since Jan 10. What I am wondering is if they choose to seize my antique..... will they inform me that it has been seized or will it just dissapear?

They will probably send you a letter eventually if it was seized or they are questioning legality.
Customs held one of mine for about 4 weeks before i finally got a letter from them asking for a copy of the sales invoice. Another one (with RCMP antique letter) sat in customs for 5 weeks with no explaination, then it just showed up at my door.
