Ensure that you register the firearm before it is shipped as it takes 2 weeks to receive a certificate and the courier eg air canada will charge for keeping it and customs isnt a bonded storage facility. My 2 sharps are in customs now as I wait for the registrations in the mail.

If you buy from Shiloh or Bill Goodman the following procedures are required
a) a canadian international import certificate completed
b)Register the firearms
c) Utilize an exporter (ETSS in Hotchkiss) or an importor (prophetriver sakoalberta) to complete state department requirements and to have it shipped)
d) Inform Importer of nearest International Import
e) Have released from customs using the import cert and registration.
f) Take it home and drool
Im not totally sure of the costs. ETSS charged me 250.oo per gun. Customs had some duty, shipping was 50.oo. I bought these before th dollar went down to I was about 2700.oo into each one.

We charge $195 per firearm and look after everything. Of course, you will have to pay the GST (we pay, then collect from you) and shipping from our Lloydminster address-usually about $25. When using our services, you don't have to have them registered as a business we can import then register once we are in possesion. As an individual, you MUST have them registered before they will be released from customs.
