Since the importation and submittal to the RCMP SFSS for a new firearm is a pretty risky endeavor, is there any chance you guys could do a pseudo sticker draw for the importation of a new model of firearm? Eg, The cost to purchase and import a Marcolmar Cetme L is about $2500. If there is a "sticker draw" of 125 stickers for $20each, then that would cover the cost to import the rifle and submit it to the RCMP SFSS for an FRT#. If successful, then a winner could be drawn from the 125 stickers for the ownership of the rifle. If unsuccessful, then we lose $20each, which in reality is not a huge loss.

Just off the top of my head, I could think of a few different firearms that could be imported and submitted:
-Marcolmar Cetme L

Sticker draws are a dubiously legal scam and $2500 is nothing for a business… I’m sure IRunGuns is well aware of the market potential for these guns and they are not just ignoring importation because of the cost to purchase one of them for inspection.

BTW another business is already in the process of getting approval for the CETME (taking several years) and a number of semi “machine guns” like the 249S are already legal for import.

Isn't the export of belt fed weapons prohibited out of the states besides for LE/Mil end users due to some obscure ITAR regulation? IRG made a post about it in the past.
If you guys can actually get M249S’s im gunna be really salty after buying a belt fed here haha

I'm curious if anyone thinks that a legal semi auto belt fed SAW would be less than $15k.

I sure don't think it would.

They are $10K USD, so yeah. The real deal is highly overrated (although mildly amusing in full-auto), and semi belt-feds are very "meh" Ask me how I know....

I am curious as to why "we" think that a CETME-L has been imported for a lab ruling, whereas Marcolmar says "no"....

I was thinking the CETME-A Motiuk made and submitted years ago. Why would anyone submit the CETME-L though while that is still pending?

Don't wanna let the cat completely out of the bag but I'm 99.9% sure b-wingpilot has a reaaaaallllllyyyyy good idea of what Motiuk has been up to.

And to answer your question from my own personal perspective, you'd want to try as many avenues as you could to see which one might actually work.

As far as the OP goes, I'd totally be down for a few of those stickers. Everything except the 249. Seems like a good idea with little risk of the business losing money.

Stg would be awesome! Can’t see why those wouldn’t come in tho right. We have the 22lr and there was the SSD version to

PSA STG44 would give you most profit. Since it is relatively cheap, you will sell many. M249 is cool but too expensive, I doubt how many can be sold, less than 100?

I said to hell with the rcmp and I moved to the US I had enough of that crap good luck tho. I shot the ctme-L a few months ago it's a very finniky rifle that only accepts metal gi mags. at least the version I used did I wanted one but gave it a hard pass after that
