I would like to mention that ALL of the Yugoslav surplus ammunition which we imported, yes millions of rounds, was tested and approved for import.
BTW to all who think this is easy it is NOT and it is very costly....

Is importing brass from the states OK with the US or is that equally impossible?

Brass is an ITAR controlled item as well.. You will need permits
