Importing an MP5?

Okie here's my question.

I have a friend down south that is willing to give me a converted to semi auto only H&K MP5, is there any legal way I can get this item into Canada?

Also is there any special license required to own it?

Would a basic PAL suffice?

Under no circumstances.

The only MP5's in the country are grandfathered to those who have the 12(x) status. No new prohibs can be imported even if you are grandfathered.

That's an ignorant ####ing statement isn't it? It's his country too, and he has as much right to be here as you do. This is a democracy, which means if we don't like it we have the right to try to change it.

This board on the other hand, is not a democracy, so if you don't like it you can hit the road.

This is a great country, but it has plenty of laws that suck ass.
 
Isn't that what the failed Liberal candidate said to the WW2 Vet up Renfrew way? Didn't he lose by 17 000 votes? How about - if you don't like the way things are, work for change.
