Hey all,
Quick question, has anyone personally imported a restricted/nonrestricted firearm from the US to Canada?
It seems like its possible however I suspect if I were to attempt it, I would undoubtly screw something up and end up in prison!
All jokes aside, if anyone has any user friendly "how to's" on the subject I would love the help!
Having said all that.... If anyone can suggest any reasons not to import "less expensive" firearms, I would love to here them!

I bought two shotguns from the Buffalo Gun Center. They did the export paperwork for $100 per gun and I registered them on the Canadian side. The registry was still in effect...

I drove down to the store in Buffalo & an employee from the BGC transported the guns to Canadian Customs. Paperwork was checked, duty paid & they handed me my two shotguns in the parking lot.

Prophet River can do the paperwork for you... As you indicated, guns are less expensive in the USA, but, you have to do the paperwork to get them here...

Cheers
Jay

Yes. It’s easy - contact Clay at Prophet River and he can do it for you. It will cost a little, but when you are spending $3K or whatever, it’s chump change.
If you go through PR, there is NO paperwork on your end, just a form on his website that takes maybe 20 seconds to fill out.
