Importing from the USA

I just ordered two actions out of the US and used IRUNGUNS
I was charged $200 each for import fees and $25 each for shipping ( Cdn funds )
I will also have to pay the taxes on the Cdn side as well as shipping to my home when they’re processed.
I bought the actions directly from the Retailer and they shipped them to IRUNGUNS in Arizona.

I think Ron Spomer showed off a rifle like that on YouTube. Sweet!
He did, the rifle was made by George Hoenig, it was a double! Bailey Bradshaw used his design(after the patent came open) to base his design from and simplified it further and make them single shot only, reason being he didn’t think that a double balanced and handled as well as a single shot!

I miss the days when the dollar was par. Or even close. Living 5 miles from the US Border we used to go down often for day to day supplies like clothes n groceries. Saved a PILE of money vs buying up here.

EuroOptic has a good sale on Seekins rifles right now. $1585 USD for a Havek, theyre north of $3k up here. So even paying all the extras and what not its still cheaper to order from them and have it sent to IRunGuns and imported. I also see a reputable dealer has Kelbly's actions on sale right now for like $800 USD. I'd love to get my hands on one but after paying exchange, taxes, import fees and shipping its about the same price as getting them in Canada and you wont have to wait 6 weeks for them to show up.

If you dont mind me asking what actions did you order and who did you get them through?
