It can be time consuming but it can't be too hard - Questar does it all the time.BlackWatch said:How hard is it to import a handgun from an FFL dealer in the States? Anyone know the process?

sunray said:"...most likely not be available in Canada..." Right. The Beretta PX4 Storm .45 Special Duty is prohibited due to its barrel 102mm length. Neither you nor Questar can import prohibited firearms.
I just imported "Firearms Parts" (Customs declaration) from Brownells and there is no duty. GST, PST from your province and a $5.00 mystery handling fee (Customs inspection or Canada Post)only. I know there are additional fees for an actual firearm but there's no duty, at least on US made guns.sunray said:"...only about 13% diff. in the dollar..." The exchange rate is only a small part of the price difference.
