Importing Lyman bullet casting molds

The general consensus on Casboolit forums is that current production Lyman moulds are hit or miss when it comes to quality.

You can scour many group buys or classifieds on that site for anything relating to casting. I receive moulds from NOE (US maker) regularly there is no issues exporting them from the US....
 
Moulds, sizers, punches and reloading tools in general, are considered as tools in the US Export regime. No issues for anyone to get one out of the US. I bought moulds from LBT and various goodies from Buffalo. No issues, except Buffalo can take a while to show up.
Cabelas US is sooooo spooked by the ITAR regs after getting nailed on them, they even had reloading tools labelled as non exportable on their site. They had Forster presses in stk a couple of yrs ago, and had them labelled as non-exportable. I talked to Forster about that, as I had to call them for something else, the guy there laughed and said he would have to talk to them. He steered me to Gunstop to get the press.
 
I just received my 10# Lee casting furnace and a thermometer from Cabela's today. I ordered it from Cabela's in the US and got the cheaper US prices but it was shipped from Cabela's Canada. I wish I had got the 20# unit now.
