Does anybody know if they are still importing SVT-40's into Canada. Just wondering if they will be bringing more in after the retail stock drys up across Canada. Thanks:ar15:

Not sure about right now but as with all milsurp they will dry up. I think at least one dealer said they are getting harder to get. For $299 buy now and get in the game! Hard to go wrong! I just got one about a month ago and now I wonder what took me soo long. Taking it apart for cleaning you can appreciate a nicely built gun.

The last ones were built in 1945, eventually the warehouses will be empty and the $275 SVT will go the way of the $25 Lee Enfield. Rumour has it that stocks of Russian and Eastern Bloc surplus are starting to dry up. The next generation of surplus is the AK 47, which we aren't going to be allowed to have. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I think it was westrifle. I also got one last month. Now I'm kicking myself for having took that long and I think il buy a second one this week.

HEY GUYS.-

I have presently on hand, some TOKAREV SVT40 rifles, made by TULA and dated 1940, all with shiny near perfect bores.

I have a couple dated 1944.

Because hunting time is coming, I have about no time to post them in the EE.

If interested, shot me a buzz.

The SVT-40 is the only milsurp firearm I own that isn't worth more now then when I bought it.

Paid $700 for it a year before some jerk in Russia found a few crates of 'em and sent 'em all over here.
