It will happen eventually. Importers are anxious to see the wording of the OIC as a simple return to the way it was will leave shipments vulnerable to the same type of antics that caused the prohibition.

any chance of a heavy metal, red devil or sniper version being available again? maybe under a special order?

What do you guys think about these rifles being imported again into Canada.. I sure would like to see it happen, simply because I would love to own a NR version.

There are some real deals by folks divesting themselves of these rifles right now in the EE.
Get in on it now while prices are still low.

Restricteds are of no interest for me, but should they import them again, i would like a Classic Green NR to join my Black Special NR...
This was my plan before they got reclassified, now i would like to complete my plan... JP.

JP when you have a black and green you'll have to decide what colour goes in your right hand and what colour in your left haha (akimbo)

The size of your collection leaves too many tough decisions.

Step 1: Buy a SAN Carbine.
Step 2: Get it re-barrelled by Ian @ Herons Arms with your choice of blank, twist rate, exterior finish, choice of a brake or a flash hider.
Step 3: Get Ian to change the status to NR.
Step 4: Enjoy.

It'll cost you $4.5k or so when its all said and done, but I certainly don't think that would be a problem for you.

Thanks for the info, i thought about it but i will see before if they come again then if it's an utopia, your idea will be done... JP.
