Anyone have any info on how to? Specifically information like does the U.S. consider URG's just parts like we do here in Canada? Do I just call someone in the U.S. Provide them FFL Exporter's info then done? Has anyone done it before? ITAR and all that aside, I understand all the ITAR stuff. Basically I just want to import a URG, but not sure how to go about it.

other than I have no idea what an URG is, go and take a look on irungun's website on 3rd party import, they pretty much have made exporting stuff out of the U.S. idiot proof.

Yeaaah I'd like to avoid using them, as they never answer my emails. When I tried to inquire about HK's, and Colts. I'm basically done with IRG, but I'll give their FAQ a read. Thanks!

I'd avoid IRG unless you want to receive your precious stuff wrapped in a garbage bag and clear wrap.

I got a colt 6920 from IRG, pristine condition, very good and secure packaging, so not too sure what dietz is talking about.

I do I just got a package from them last week. Mine was in a box then black garbage bag plastic and then clear plastic wrap. So I had no problem with the plastic because it was in a box first.

I think the issue is once or a twice someone got their parts wrapped in just plastic no box, and therefore came damaged during shipping

I guess I've been lucky 2 imports and one US site order later and all my stuff came in boxs

This has been explained several times on CGN and keeps coming up. That is not garbage bag lol. Its a plastic shipping film that comes in rolls to protect the contents from water damage and to hide factory markings on the box. We tried the white wrap and other colors but they are translucent unless you use a ton of it thus making it not cost effective.

We have used the same stuff here at my shop to wrap pallets, its just a fact it will be described as garbage bag material by most people. It does look like garbage bag lol

I prefer black also, or any method to hide brand/model on the box. Some companies Ive ordered from use brown paper

Either way Ive had no problems with your packaging so far

How about using the actual BOX the things you ship came in? Eh? Maybe we wouldn't receive our stuff all dinged and scratched up (like countless members have experienced)? Or maybe cardboard is just so expensive it just got it's own slot inbetween Palladium and Platinum?

Maybe if you stopped censuring your forum people would be aware of what you're doing?

Ok so why post the garbage bag comment when you know its false? We also box our products now if they do not come in a factory box (I cant say that was always the case for every item, I have a customer with a lower that was damaged during transit last year and we are talking care of him). Countless members really lol please PM me their names so I can contact them. Anyhow this thread is not about us and there other options for import, Prophet River, Questar etc.

Hello Steve,

I will be doing that, the funny thing when IRG opened. I was in awe of your company and its business model. I thought here's a company who's got it figured out for the Canadian consumers, someone who not just opened the borders but basically the gates to firearm heaven. I don't mean to give you a bad comment, but customer relations has kind of soured then improved then soured. But now that I have someone to specifically email, I'll try one last time see where I get and hopefully restore my faith in IRG. I've bought from you before and recommended you to others who also bought from you, we drive around with IRG stickers on our vehicles cause again we appreciate what you've brought to the Canadian market. Also thanks for bringing the APTIAL's in, just wish our dollar wasn't so bad. Thanks for the connect, I'll PM with how it went.

Thanks,
MK
