Importing VZ58 parts from the Czech - Duties?

10 - 4 that! No issues for me either.....buy when u can before the prices skyrocket and before they stop shipping to canada...got a few sets of beechwood stocks coming in any day now......next up a few extra barrels

Anything especially difficult about bringing the barrels in?

I've never ordered off of Ebay before, but I really want that beaverbarf stock to replace the polymer one that comes with the CSA VZ-58. Does anyone have any tips when shopping on ebay for stocks?

I ordered a bipod from Ebay. Arrived in a couple weeks, no duty or tax. I ordered a beech wood stock set from a website and got it today, no duty or tax.

I've purchased VZ58 items on Ebay before, from the Czech Republic. Mostly wood stock and metal hardware, never paid duties... You will need a (FRAUD ALERT) account and learn to 'poach' in the final 15 seconds if there is a bidding war.

Been trying to get a Mauser bayonet and missed a couple chances... been outbid at the last second and one time thought the auction end was in Pacific time. I missed out on the nicest one I've ever seen.

If anyone acquires a mint VZ58 wooden (not beaver) bayonet that they want to get rid of, let me know.

+1. I can't think of anything else that you would need.

You can also buy Vz.58/858 parts kits from some of the site sponsors as well. Corwin Arms has, for example, spare firing pins for C$28.27. Another site sponsor, whose name escapes me at the moment, had virtually every spare part you might need in a kit for about C$100 (if memory serves).

Marstar used to sell complete vz 58's minus the receiver but those were old Czech military rifles and I don't think they've had them for a few years.

Never ever paid a penny duty ordering from czech republic. ....just kinda weird cause the tracking number they give only let's u know if it arrived in canada that's it....and 30 to 45 days sometimes

sorry to derail the thread, but is there a market for original vz58 barrels? just out of curiosity, what is one worth in canada (or anywhere) ?

most European countries class barrels as firearms and they are licensed however many consider receivers not firearms

That's hilarious - looks like the tariffs run 3.5-7%. So does that mean parts and accesories should run about the same? I didn't see them mentioned along with howitzers "free". LOL

Yes, shipping is quite slow from Czech Rep, former Yugoslavia, etc. Had items take a month or so. Buy things from China and it's in my hands usually in 2 weeks.
