Impossible Shot

Every man who served paid with his life in one way or another. The survivors just have to keep paying until the day they rest eternally. This man deserves far more than they gave him, but to see the look on his face when he was given those gifts puts great men in a different perspective.

KDX you da man! Seriously though, both my son and myself were impressed and moved by this mans acomplishments and the people thanking him. Very classy. Thank you for finding this one.

Given his concern, he likely hasn't fired a rifle since "coming home"????

And he is EIGHTY FOUR!!!

So after how many decades and using a refurb with unknown performance and zero, he sends the first shot on target but low. We have no idea if the rifle is even sighted in to use the ammo shot?

Adjusts, sends another in the right direction. Adjusts, hits the goal.

100% hit rate so far.

They didn't say if he shot anymore before the 1000yds attempt. Or if he had any practise at 1000yds.

His 3 shots were centered and achieving accuracy levels the modern top shooters consider 'impossible' ie he shot at an accuracy level exceding modern sniper requirements and equipment expectations.

Odds are he has never seen this type of rifle nor shot off a bipod (which is not easy especially off a concrete bench). And I doubt he got to dry fire the rig a bunch of times.

So 6 (or???) shots in, with 2 brand new rifles, and he has exceeded top gun performance after being away for how many decades and in his twilight years, I would say he did pretty darn good.

Nice to see someone that will forget more then many will learn:rockOn:
