Recently bought a Sig Sauer 1911-22 new. It had some major and minor issues. Contacted MD Charlton as instructed by the vendor I purchased the gun from, (a sponser here). I told them of the issues and received a repair authorization number.
From the time I shipped the gun to them, had it repaired, and received it back, it was under 4 weeks, and I live in a more remote area so mail is always a couple extra days. Tried the gun out, and it now works great.
For people that complain that gun warranty repairs in Canada take months, this was luckily not the case for me in this instance. I was prepared to lose my gun for months after reading some threads here. But instead the turnaround was more that reasonable.
So a big thanks to MD Charlton.
