Got a mossberg 500 combo the other week, and just got around to sighting in the rifled barrel with sabot slugs
Took the bushnell trs-25 off my paper weight (ar-15) and slapped it on the mount
First shot took me by surprise. Havent shot a sabot slug before. Over adjusted the second shot.
Next three shots impressed me quite a bit. I am by no means a marksman and with no magnification, I think the grouping was pretty impressive, though i wasnt sure what to expect
Since the red dot is 1x magnification, and the dot isnt the most crisp, im not sure if the grouping size was due to ammo or just me not pointing consistently.
Have to try a few other brands of ammo and practice my offhand shot now
