Hey guys just wanted to share some pictures of the expansion that these sweet little rounds demonstrate. Ammo was shot straight into Sand and bullet was recovered...

This thing expanded really nicely and was roughly 4 inches deep in the sand the bullet weighs in at 33 grains and according to the box shoots at 740fps... it's a hair louder than CCI cb longs and still sounds like a pellet gun...
The bullet on the right was bent a little when I pulled it out of the casing

I did not do a full accuracy test but the ammo held a good half inch group at 30 yards resting against a tree... good enough for me to pic this as my tree rat round for noise sensitive areas...
 
Thankz for the follow up. I never retreated any .22 from squirrels:D but did see a kid shot a squirrel 3 times with roundnose and the critter still running until he made a head shot...

In my experience shooting Eastern Gray tree rats with these, they always pass through. Even head shots 30m up will pass through leaving some gray matter hanging out. If the shot is a little off and I gut shoot them, there will often be entrails hanging out the other side.

Interesting review. I've never recovered a round from the dozens of tree rats I've shot with CBees. And these include the large Eastern Gray tree rats.

Shot placement is paramount. I've taken many tree rats with low powered round nose rounds. A single shot through the boiler room has downed them every time.
 
The yellow jackets (which basically use the same bullet) were my go to grey squirrel eradicating load for years. VERY destructive little bullet.
 
what guns have you used? ive used them in a norinco JW15A (short barrel), a old lakefield/mossberg MK2 rifle, and im half way through my third box now and i dont remember having one failer yet. i know my guns do have a strong hammer spring and it hits prety hard/deep.

Ditto here. I've shot over 3 boxes and working on the 4th without a single misfire. Shot through many different .22 rifles from Savage, BRNO, CZ, Norc, Remington to Marlin.

Cooey Ace,Cooey 600, Savage 300 Trapper, Remington 512, Henry H001, Winchester Wildcat and manually cycled through a Marlin Model 60. Might be others I am forgeting. I picked up 300 rounds and tried it in every .22 I could get my hands on after it started to fail. I think I got about 140 rounds to fire.I have a box now that I have been running through a Marlin 56 and have only had maybe 3. I previously found remingtons golden bullets to be garbage too.
