Good Evening fellow Gunnutz. I have recently purchased a 1956 F.N. Browning Auto 5.Firearm is in really good condition, with matching numbers.I have also been lucky enough to find a (Miroku/Browning) Japanese 28 inch barrel with improved modified choke (So I can shoot steel shot, or so I thought). However,(Miroku also made Charles Daly barrels)I have just noticed on Charles Daly web site,That this question was asked."Can I use steel shot in my Charles Daly". (answer) "Steel shot should not be used with any ckoke tighter than a modified choke.(flush or external).Do not use steel shot with improved modified , full or extra full choke tubes".Is this also the case with the Japanese Browning Auto 5 improved modified I am going to Purchase ? Can I use steel shot in a improved modified Miroku/Browning barrel? Thanks for any help in this matter.
