A few weeks back, I posted a rant about the lousy OEM primer catcher that comes with the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme press. That contraption is as bad as the press is good. It has small capacity, it is cheaply made, it moves around, it catches only about 60% of spent primers, and it is a challenge to take it off the press without spilling the contents on the floor.

But there is hope. I purchased an aftermarket 3D printed primer catcher on ebay. Here is the link to the vendor's ebay store:

That thing is a no brainer to install, it has a large capacity, it is 100% reliable, and it does not make a mess when you use/empty it.

Highly recommended.

Thanks for the heads ups looks very cool and takes one less headache away. I always hated that feature, cant wait for mine to show up.

I have one. It’s fabulous.

Mine came with a clear flexible tube about 24” long, I mounted a cup holder on the bench leg. The tube runs into a plastic water bottle. I haven’t had to bend over and pickup a spent primer off the bench or the floor for a couple years now!

Cheers

They come with a flexible tube and an easily removable plug. The tube holds several hundred spent primers. It is emptied by removing the plug and letting thee content fall into a trash container. An empty plastic bottle is also an option.
