Hi folks. Pretty new to airguns here (at least since I was a kid).

I just recently bought a Umarex SA177 so that I can practice my pistol skills at home.
The controls and feel of this airgun are just like my real Glock 17, except the first stage of the Umarex trigger pull is *nasty* long and heavy in comparison to the real thing.

My question is, is there any way I can improve the training value of this airgun by modifying the trigger pull to more closely duplicate the proper pull? I don't know yet how to strip this pistol down and I don't want to damage it in the process of figuring out how.

Thanks.

I've searched this also. I have not been able to figure out how to take it apart (other than the slide) with out breaking something. It looks like the trigger assembly is glued in place.

I've managed to successfully take mine apart. You have to knock out the three 1/8" cross pins.

One just forward of the safety.

One just above the CO2 cylinder hinge

One at the base of the pistol grip.

Yup....necro-post! I have one of these as well, and it's leaking a bit of CO2, so I'm looking for a bit of insight on that.
