The recent events overseas such as in Libya & Syria has got me to thinking about the history of emergency production of workable artillery in wars. This phenomenon goes back quite a ways.

Ras & his cousin had access to a large # of wagon wheels, which they refined into the steel for the gunbarrels. Could you imagine taking on a job like that? I am wondering if they had any other help from community members.
