I have a couple pellet rifles and some old bb pistols that get very limited use. I was at princess auto on a big sale day getting parts for my trailer and picked up a 1322 for $35, they had the stock kits and a bunch of the 1322. I came back a hour later at 8am and they were sold out. free toques, coffee, donuts and many other great deals.
I have been having way too much fun with this little pumper. I have to eat soup for lunch just so I have more cans to blast apart. i am very pleased with this little find.

Great buy even at the regular price! I believe that the stock 1322 is the hardest hitting stock air pistol that you can get. And can be upgraded in power for the same kind of velocity with a .25 cal barrel.

A bit of a derail, but I was in there a few days ago and found a cable roll holder made out of all steel for about $8 on sale. Came with a few alligator clips and rings, and I immediately though "target holder". I will probably keep it for just the air guns, though the .22 LR might not chew it up too fast.

Also found a recoil reducing rest for $50. Nice piece, but I did have to chase a couple screw holes with my (PA) thread chaser set.

Great pistol and a lot of fun to mod up. I have three. A 1322, 1377 and the 2289 backpacker. Two are in carbine form and all three sport steel recievers to facilitate solid scope mounting. Only pic I had on hand is of the 2289 although I have since cropped down the barrel length to 16" and recrowned. All internals have been polished and I installed a flat top piston and flat topped the valve myself to increase pump efficiency then played around with the valve and hammer springs to keep it under 500fps so it didn't become a restricted. Works as an air conserving pumper now where I get 485fps with ten pumps and a second shot at around the same velocity if I pump to twenty. I have also replaced the roll pin for the pump arm with a solid pin made from a 3/16" drill bit grooved to hold cir-clips for easy removal.

last pumper I had was a Crossman 760 25 years ago. I have a couple break barrel rifles, but this thing is great fun for the price of a case of beer and hopefully lasts longer. I have my rpal, but that's not what I want to do with this, I am already planning mods, but am not going to go crazy.

Is it .177 or .22?

1377 is .177, a 1322 is .22.

OK, thanks. I been kinda toying with the idea of buying one for hunting game birds. Seeing as how I turned that magic age last month and no longer need to buy a licence to hunt "chickens". I thought I would spend the licence fee $ towards a pellet gun.

I have an ancient 1322 that I use on Grouse. Works great, with a satisfying "whack!" with a good hit. You need to make good hits the first shot or so, it gets harder to hold steady after vigorous pumping.

I finished upgrading my 1377 to 25 cal not long ago, while I haven't had a chance to test accuracy I can get about 412fps with 10 pumps and 475fps with 15 pumps using 19.91gr pellets.
