UPDATE, the gsg was approved today around 4-5pm and i got a call from Chris at Rouge River Arms and he stayed 20 minutes past closing so i could come by and get it! plus threw in a trigger lock because he knew i would forget one lol.

i went to rouge river arms because my 35cal gas checks came in and then i made the big mistake of looking in the gun display...

$555 later i own a GSG and 4 mags!

Blueline would be the only ones with a decent selection of parts.
Just go shoot it a lot and you may want to replace the grips. I ended up removing the paint and polishing the interior of the slide / rail so it cycles more reliably, but some of the guns don't need this. Or so I've read.
I have no reason to replace the guide rod. The newer one works perfectly fine.

CW Accessories has a nice selection of parts & accessories for the GSG 1911-22, including guide rods.

I was reading some reviews of my SIG Sauer (GSG) 1911-22 yesterday and a couple of the reviews mentioned parts that were made by these guys and they come well-recommended. I'm really anxious to see how much the EXoSKELETON slide is gonna cost when they release it. It seems like it would be something that is quite pricey but, then again, they know they're building it for a $400 gun, so...

Of course, these guys are in the US, so I have no idea what you can and can't order from them and have imported into Canada. I'm new to the whole firearms ownership thing and haven't gotten to the point of looking up the importation laws yet.

CW does not ship to canada

Love my tactical. I did eventually take the mock suppressor off but it always gets looks at range

It did seem a little stiff in the store, but I will shoot it first and see how well it cycles.

Thanks for the tips guys, I will check out gsgpro shops.

I did see cw accessories and that EXoSKELETON does look sweet. But I don't think we will get it based on the blue line thread.

There was a parts kit that once installed eliminated the use of a hex driver in order to strip the gun, it would strip like any other 1911. I don't have this upgrade on mine, but if I were to upgrade anything it would be that...and perhaps the sights {they kind of suck (plastic)}.

just shot about 400 rounds through it without a single issue, it's so dam nice to not have any issues with a 22! my previous 22's were conversions and always had been a hassle.
