I gave it a try last fall .loaded some 3006 up for three friends for hunting season with 180 gr hornady SST .the results were good for them /2 moose/3 dear /1 bear/1 caribou and I have a freezer full .I believe I was about 1.5 grs under max .I really was just loading factory standards but the same rds grouped good for hunting out to 300 yds ,rds were also crimped ,rem brass ,wlr primers .I did noticed went I test fired that they didn't seem to recoil the same way as factory rounds or even ones I had loaded with 4064 they seemed to push your shoulder rather than bang it <two of the others noticed the same thing>
