Has anyone else found that Hodgdon online data seems a bit more conservative with Hodgdon powders than with the IMR powders? Maximum Loads both listed at 46,000 cup can be upped a fair bit in 6.5x55 FN Mauser with no pressure signs with Hodgdon 4831 but with IMR 4831 and 4955 I am close to getting sticky bolt lift. I guess there is no QuickLoad data for the 4955 yet but I think I remember them indicating higher pressures for the IMR 4831 than the Hodgdon data would seem to indicate.
I am running the bullets about 15 thou. off the lands so maybe that powder is more sensitive to getting a running go than is Hodgdon 4831
Not much written yet about the Enduron 4955 but I am seeing pretty small shot to shot deviation on the chronograph with 140Gr Hornady. 2825 fps with 26" barrel.
