IMR 700x Who uses it?

It's dirty and smoky but you can shoot a pile of 45 ACP out of an 8lb keg. Never used it in the 44 but I do use it in the 38 and 357 so it'll probably work just fine.

as i recall it meter's like crap, i only got 1 pound for my 12 gauge loading, but never ended up using much of it.

I've used at least two 8 lb. kegs and some small cans. I used it in 38, 9mm, light rifle loads, 12 ga. Doesn't meter too well, but at 5 gr. per 30-30 gallery load, it gives approx. 1200 loads per lb. :)

Edit: Meant to say "too well"

I used it for cast bullet loads in rifles and have also used some in shotgun loads from time to time.Only ever bought 2 lbs. though so my experience with this powder is limited.

I use it for practice loads in my 45. I load 200 G swc over 4.6g. It does not meter well in my Dillon 650, I use an aquarium air pump strapped to the powder meter to assist in getting more uniform powder drops.

I have a keg of 700 and another of 800X I bought a few years ago. Use it some but mostly it's my reserve for when I'm out of my regular powders. It's an insurance policy.

Had to switch to it when the powder ran dry, it was all I could get. Ended up buying 4 x 8 pounders
Reload 12g, 45acp and 9mm with it. Meters ok with my 650. No metering issues with the Mec for 12g.
Goes bang every time.

This should last a while
