Hi all

Can someone tell me if IMR4227 is the same powder as H4227 just under a different name?

I did check on google but get conflicting answers, so i'm hoping an old hand can confirm yeh or neh

Cheers

Old Can IMR 4227 = made in Canada = IMR4227
Plastic Bottle IMR 4227 made in Austrila= AR2205 = H4227
Plastic Bottle H 4227 made in Austrila= AR2205 =H4227

the powders are so close
but if you have old power use old data (originally made by Dupont) (Spelling?)

if you have the new powder it could be old data (IMR) or the newer data (H) that is in your reloading book
I looked at some data in a new book and it was the same as a 20+ reloading manual flipped several pages and looked at another cal and data was different = one was the old IMR and one was the H in the same book

Part of the reason you ALWAYS WORK UP

Look for your self
