In Defiance of Separatist Coalition: Black Rifle Picture Thread

Thanks! My brother had alot of pointers on gear for it, and helped me get the handguard and stock barrel nut off. Easy once you see how it's done, but without his muscle, i doubt I would have gotten it myself

It will also be my first attempt to zero a sight... should be interesting.

You have very good taste.

What's the model? Colt or Stag? I see the side front sling swivel and those two models jump into my head as having those stock....all ya need is a BUIS and your good to go!

Thanks for the kind words guys, hopefully i can hit paper with it =) It's a Colt LE6920, got lucky enough to have snagged one off the EE a ways back, and since i didn't even have my PAL/RPAL yet, i was lucky the guy held it until I did.

BUIS... yes i haven't looked into them yet, I'm wondering about clearance with my Short Dot... anyone have a suggestion? I noticed in a pic on zak smith's site, in his Fighting Optics article, that there was a BUIS under his Short Dot, but as I'm pretty inexperienced I didn't get recognize it.

I used to use a troy under mine....it's pretty much the cat's ass as far as BUIS go. Very sturdy and locks in the up posn. No elevation adjustment though....so you'd just have to adjust the front sight. Here's a pic of it under my S&B...granted I do have it in a 1.93 mount not a SPR-E.

I love the RCS holsters, Ken Hackathorn sold me on them a year ago.

they made a belt adaptor plate - as seen above

I have some video of the normal holster with me not in armor
