In-line .50cal 1:28, best .45 bullet weight?

I'll throw out this basic question regarding In-line muzzleloading.

In terms of accuracy alone, what is your preferred weight of Saboted Bullet that you have used in your 1:28 twist barrel?

Not interested in urban legends or marketing hype, I want your experience at the range making those nice tight groups with different weight bullets- from the boattailed ballistic tip crowd to those of you who launch cast .45 auto inside a sabot!

What bullet weight works best, for you??

Old fashioned Hornady .452 dia 300 gr XTP bullet, Harvester EZ load sabot, & 90 grains of FFG T7 - all of which have been bought BULK.

250-grain SST....... Shoots well from 100-150 grain loads for me in a half dozen muzzleloaders but to say which is best for any gun is impossible without testing it!

I cast 260 and 300 gr sized to .452 or .451 depending on sabbot avail..

Depends on the gun.

My CVA liked 250 grain TC shockwaves
My TC Triumph likes 300 grain SST's.

Im using a hornby 45-250 sst with 80g pyrodex P, and shooting it out of my Lyman Great Plains hunter (1:32 twist) and consistantly am within 2in at 100yrds

Looks like a close lead to the 250..

I've a big bucket of wheelweights and about to buy a new mould, looks like I'll get the Lee#90358 .452" 255 grainer and give her a crack!
