It is fitting that this evening with Saskatchewan in the Grey Cup Game, I must share the sad news of the death of a fellow CGN'er, a sharp minded collector of Lee Enfield conversions and Palma Team rifles, and longtime member the Saskatchewan Provincial Rifle Association.

Wayne's widow Mary Ann shared with me that Wayne passed away on Sept 23, 2009 from Glioblastoma Multiforme, a primary Brain Cancer. He was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago. Things weren't too bad, but May 2009 saw a drastic decrease in his health.

Donations or expressions of support may be sent to the Grace Hospice where Wayne spent his last days, and she assures me they took awesome care of him.

My deepest sympathy. I had not heard from Wayne since mid summer. A very knowledgeable lad when it came to Enfields and the like. He will be greatly missed in the Enfield world. My heart goes out to his family and friends. God Bless. Ron

Yes "Wayne/sk.ca" was his user name on GUNNUTZ and "No.4stuff" on eBay. He had some great Enfield parts for sale over the years. Sadly missed. Ron
