After shooting the awesome match in Taber last weekend, I have found that I am in need of a large bag. I have been looking at the wiebad Pump Pillow and the large bag by Armageddon.

Any other similar recommendations?

What do you have and how do you like it?

Looking to get rid of one?

Thanks

Matt

How about a Protection Racket rolling hardware bag, 28"x14"x10"? Good size, protects the contents, lockable, compact and holds a day's range supplies & lunch!

Sorry I should have been more specific. I mean a support bag to put under my arm or the butt of my rifle during awkward position stages.

Hi Matt

I run the large wedge bag from Armageddon and like it.

I just started looking at this one. I was not sure about the wedge shape. Do you find it works well say putting on your knee and under your arm in like a kneeling position/barricade? Also they seem a lot better priced than the Wiebad stuff. Can you get them in Canada?

The wedge shape is nice to fit under your arm and the fill is soft enough you can squeeze nice. Yes you can get them in Canada but I ordered mine direct. Pm me for the Retailer in Canada as I'm not sure if they are a site sponsor but hint they were one of our sponsors for our Taber match and he is in Calgary

The other option (if youre inclined...) is to make your own.

For less than $100 of materials (cordura, webbing, seam tape, buckles, fill), I (read: My wife) have made at least 7 bags in similar dimensions and fills to the popular bags out there now, and a shooting mat (similar to the Tab mat).

I can also design and test new shapes and sizes without having to spend a lot of $$$ on a bag that may not work for me.

That said, when there's something I can't make myself, or its more cost-beneficial to purchase...693 Precision is my guy!
