In need of education... TRW bolts->

TRW = Thompson Ramo Woolridge.

They were the last contractor to hold the contract to make M14s.

TRW learned from everyone elses mistakes.

This is the prefered order as far as M14 parts go:

1) TRW
2)Springfield(USGI) or Winchester
3) H&R

SKBY.

TRW was (in the 50s) most renowed for making the parts for jet engines.
In short their business was making precision metal parts, often from uncooperative materials.
They used the same approach for the M-14.

is it just me or is the actual trigger just a hair shorter than trw and springfield or winchester- i've got 3 out of the 4 ( missing the winnie) and i'd swear the trigger on the h&r feels like it's about 1/16 of an inch shorter in the hook- like the others take the full pad of the finger and the h&r does not?

If I remember correctly, they were $399.00 if you bought one, and $1200.00 for a collector pack. Marstar's M-305's are an incredible value right now, 5 years ago Garands were $200.00, now what are they?
