So obviously I have a pistol (or two!) on the way to me and am wondering what durations folks have experienced from the time they complete their end of the transfer initiation with CFC for it to get through CFO and have papers and STATT issued?

Thanks in advance from an eager beaver (both the soon to be my pistols have beaver tails too).

Bought my first one on July 18, everything was ready on July 21. Bought second on July 22, everything was ready on 23.

Never had a private sale go through in less than 2 weeks...even with regular follow ups...dealer sales are another story...have had most in a day or two, one even same day.

All my private transfers have been next business day.
STATTs are within 10 minutes of the phone call ending.

Certs however are upwards of 2 weeks out.

Right now I am sitting on five parcels waiting to go to five different people in different parts of the country. The one parcel is now going on forty day wait for transfer. And yet I have sent a couple of parcels out that it was less than two weeks waiting for transfer.

Questar says they started my transfer on Wednesday, went through Friday. Shipping out today.

The fastest was with Al Flahertys. Went in during lunch time and 2 hours later its all done and ready for pick up.

I am still waiting for one I started on the 10th I called on the 22 and the Ontario CFO said the where working on transfers from the first week of July. The last 5 transfers have been takin 3 weeks or more.

I bought something from a seller in BC, the transfer took 3 weeks. I sold a pistol at the beginning of the month to someone local and the transfer took 5 business days. I recently bought another pistol from a local buyer and was told the same that they are still working on the first week of July and expect at least another week (it's already been 1 week). Frustrating.

Holly all over the map batman! I guess the key word is just patience. Meantime the safe went in the basement yesterday and getting the LTATT underway at the club so it is all coming together. I've waited over 50 years so what's a few more days really.
