I had posted that my S&W Model 41 was giving me an ulcer when it finally gave up the ghost and wouldnt extract any longer. Wneh I stripped it down, I found that the extractor plunger had been driven back into the slide face and I could not get it to release. I then read the following link recommending Wortners Gun Works in Chatham Onatrio:

Called and talked to George, explained the problem and that I was in the middle of our club match. I sent the slide and then the pistol down and I had it back in just over a week, fully repaired and test fired to boot.

Very pleased with the service and the quick turnaround - went and shot a 279 in one match today!

Highly recommend this place if you have a cranky Smith and Wesson!

I totally agree

have had a number of experiences with Wortners and all have been as decribed above
George also is a Remington repair center and was able to fix my tired 742 back to better than new condition
