In spirit of the Quality Doubles thread, What ya got- what ya want ?

I've had a few different o/u guns, 20ga citori, a Beretta 680 skeet and an international trap. Right now I have a "Moneymaker" 391 custom that I LOVE for all clays sports.
I aquired a Tobin Arms 12ga a couple years ago and it has given me the SxS bug BIG TIME. I have a 20ga Ugartechea grdIV on order right now from Lion Country Supply that I can't wait to get my paws on!!!!

I have had a Beretta BL4 with a second set of barrels off a friends BL4 that had a release-release trigger go bad. I have used it for skeet and trap, ducks and geese, pheasants, grouse and partridge. I have tried to sell it numerous times, but it is hard to let go of a gun with >60,000 rounds through it and is still as tight as a new Beretta off the shelf (with either set of barrels I might add).

Then last year I got the sxs bug, well I always had the bug but had never indulged before. Picked up 2 old Parker shotguns, a 12 GH grade that needs a little TLC, and a Trojan 16 that I got from Ardent. I have lost track of the doubles on Huns I have made with this gun in the last 2 seasons. Only problem with it is the 2 1/2" chamber, luckily a fellow CGN'er was able to help me find a case of shells.

I had a friend from England who had a beautiful straight stocked 12 with 2 1/2" chambers that was cast for a lefty (of the southpaw persuasion be I), he wanted $1200 canadian for it. The price was too high for me, but it shouldered like no other gun I have ever held. That makes me think, I should give him a call and see if he still has it?

I love doubles.

I was bidding on it, but there were other things I wanted more, so I let it go. Managed to land the belle of the ball (IMHO), though - I picked up a 97 year old Webley and Scott boxlock, extractor, in 16 gauge. She's an old girl, with virtually no case colours to be found, but she has mirror bores and still locks up solid. I was somewhat surprised by the semi-pistol grip on an English boxlock and the nitro proofs were a pleasant surprise.

I haven't had an opportunity to take decent pictures, but here's a couple of quick snapshots

Congrats! Nice find and in a nice guage too :) Bbls look like 30/32 inches? Pity about the grip but surely you must've come across other Webleys, BSAs etc (among many other English makes) that also came with such grips.

But I still Want/Need a 20 or 28 ga english stocked SxS !!!

Tim.

Not English but still a lovely SXS: http://www.reliablegun.com/Reliable/Used Guns/D9F4278E-E4D7-4950-8C20-BBDAA8693D4F.html
