IN-STOCK: All-New TYPE 81 SR

Sucks NPS doesn’t offer the PO 2.5x18 anymore… would have been perfect for this gun. Oh well. I don’t think we can get NPZ optics for awhile now anyways.

Ordered a Belomo POSP with the Simonov reticle off Amazon… looked into it and the “bases” are interchangeable so I just have to swap them to fry it out.

so how did you like the belomo compared to the npz?

Something off topic. I ma PR in Canada, doesn't have the right to vote, what I can do is to donate some money to CPC and hope them can take over Trundeau, and let us keep using the gun we have...

Accuracy was a bit disappointing the first time I had the rifle out. Today however I noticed that the gun becomes erratic as the barrel heats up. I was shooting norinco white box which is not particularly accurate even in my bolt gun, but I did not want to chase brass in the snow. I set up 3 targets the first had a group of 5 rounds was 3 inches the next two much larger 6 inches or so. Hmm did the same set up same result. So then I started waiting about 30 seconds between shots. That tightened up the group even more.

Ran into a weird issue taking mine to the range for the first time today.. Chambered a round, fired downrange. Pulled the trigger again.. Nothing, not even a click. Tried to run the bolt and it was stuck? Fiddled with it for a bit and managed to get it back, empty case flies out.

I tried manually running the bolt with my hand and it chambers and extracts one after the other no problem, but if I shoot one, the bolt doesn't move and it gets stuck after firing.. Any tips?

It is interesting that the 9 Hole Reviews Tabuk Sniper had developed a different kind of split stock issue that prevented a durability test in their latest Draganov we have at home video.I know it is unrelated, but I still found it an amusing coincidence two 7.62x39 mm Dragonvesque rifles would have stock issues.

maybe the 7.62x39 is creating a stronger recoil on stock that we cant even feel ...
