IN-STOCK NOW: SS-211 12ga

i gotta look through something to sell if i want to buy another. If theres anything special or new about the new batch give us a little hint

I can also confirm the problem with trigger on the second shot.

There is a consistent issue of NOT firing off the second shot with slugs in both barrels. Even mild loads reproduce the same pattern:
- Safety is NOT touched or engaged during or after the first shot, visibly OFF
- trigger freezes and no amount of (reasonable) force helps to produce the SECOND shot
- fiddling with safety ON / OFF doesn't help either
- breaking action open and closing it back is THE ONLY WAY to fire the second barrel.

Ammo used - Federal 1-3/4 mini slugs (1200fps, 1.75").
20+ rounds fired, only ONCE both barrels fired as it should be!

Federal 1-3/4 buckshot worked fine, so the issue is apparently RECOIL-related. And it has nothing to do with external safety.

Any ideas?

I had the same with buckshot. My gunsmith installed a stronger safety spring & it's back to working. Currently my fav firearm that goes with me every range trip AND I let everyone try. Lots of good times. Great buy IMHO!

A stock fit for an adult to use would be nice too...

The SS-211 was designed to be as compact and lightweight as possible, while still being shootable. The best method for this is to adopt a shoulders forward combat/tactical stance, shooters up to 6'2" are able to comfortably shoulder and shoot the SS-211 when adopting this shooting style

I'm 6'2 and I disagree about the comfort of shouldering the thing. Putting it next to your face while firing slugs or other heavy recoiling loads is a great way to get hit in the face with the back of the gun. It also feels exactly like I'm shouldering a youth model shotgun, not comfortable at all.

Fits fine and no problem shooting. Tried a buddies a few months ago and jumped at the chance to buy one. Thanks TI for bringing these in! Nice to have some interesting stuff on the market
