Independence 223/556 brass

Anyone bother to use this for reloading? I have a pile of it from. Was using it to teach a youth group.

I wonder if I would try it out for my yote rifle

Independence 223/556 brass is Israeli made IMI brass and you will be dealing with a different case capacity than North American made cases.

If you have a large amount of Independence brass it might be worth reloading if you make up a new workup load.

IMI is heavier than LC or typical US-made commercial cases, so loads may have to be adjusted downward due to less case capacity.

Drop at least 1 full grain and be prepared to develop a load with more or less powder, depending on what you see.
