Indian ammo 0.315/8mm

Do you a fired casing? From the look of it I believe its just a necked up 303 case. Although the shoulder might be pushed back to prevent 303 british from chambering. Either way a competent handloader should have no problem making it.
 
Just answered my own question with google. Apparently the .315 is simply a renamed 8x50R Mannlicher. Which makes sense as during the height of the British Empire Speed Lee sporting rifles where made in .303 for the African market and 8x50R for India, where civillian ownership of a military caliber was ( and still is) prohibited.
