We all know there is no substitute for live fire, but many like me have noticed how dryfire drills can benefit us in our handgun shooting. I have always wanted to be able to practice varying shooting positions in the house with my precision rifle but the minimum focus distance on my scope was always too great.
I got turned onto the Indoor Optical Training Aid (IOTA), which allows me to practice on targets inside as close as 11 feet.
I have a couple of powerpoint presentations that automatically run on my laptop that allows me to shoot all sorts of targets, movers, snaps and scenarios. I find it really helps me learn my new positions and highlight my deficiencies.
More information found here, in all I would highly recommend them!
