I can get 9mm for $11.94/50 @ Lebaron in Missisauga. .40 is about $16.50/50 there.

Anyone know of a cheaper price that is within 1 hour of Toronto?

Thanks,

LL

From time to time they have the value packs of 100 rounds of 115Gr FMJ for $18 something. I don't buy at LeBaron anymore since I started reloading :D

Have you considered Wolf's remanufactured ammo?

$ 187.60 for 1000 124gr. FMJ.

Look at wolfbullets.com. The shipping is pretty reasonable as well.

I have used Wolf's reloads in the past. Found them to be fairly dirty - lots of fouling.

I also found the .40 of theirs failed to cycle properly in my P99 ie: FTE - but it was some custom stuff a fellow club member had made up for his Glock with some sort of fancy recoil spring for IPSC, I think.

I did send an email asking if I could get them w/ clean powder and lots of ooomph. :)

I live 1/2 hour away from them too, so maybe I can pick-up and save shipping.

Overall, I find Al Simmons in Hamilton to have the best selection and slightly better prices than Le Barons, plus they are rarely out of stock. This is from a guy who regularly buys 9mm, 5.56, .308 and .303. Not sure on other stuff

The last 100 round box of winchester 115gr 9mm i got fron LeBaron was $21.75

I think Al Simmons sells 1000 Rounds for around $200 . I think they sell mostly American Eagle.

I thought i would check out Orangeville gun show for some cheap factory ammo, BIG MISTAKE.
Guys wanted $15 a box for 9mm for stuff that had obviously been sitting around for a while ,meanwhile LeBaron sells fresh stuff for about $11 a box.

Wolf uses Win 231 powder in 9mm and I believe in .40.
