Inexpensive non corrosive bulk 9mm anytime soon?

If we're going with inexpensive, if there is such a thing, than it's most likely American Eagle @ $320.

FYI, LeBaron sells Winchester USA (Value brand 9mm - 115gr) @ $23.85 per 100. That's $269.50 per 1000.

Just called lebaron, missisisauga is sold out of the win USA brand 9mm :(

...they don't know if/when more is arriving :(

I have a line on a bulk buy if any guys in Edmonton want in on it. No word yet on when it's going down, but it will be soon. PM me if you're interested and I'll let you know.

Reload my own 9mm cost is $115 per 1000 using Berry's bullets, CCI primer and Titegroup at bulk prices (min. 5K). Take about 4 hours to do 1000 using HDY LNL. Wasn't worth it when CA and others had cheap 9mm at $200/1000. Seems those days are gone

At $260 locally savings of $145 is worth 4 hours of work. Still better if CA brings in cheap ammo.

If you can wait once a year for the huge sale at ISS and reliable they do $200/1000. But honestly isn't it fun to reload your own ammo? (I know it can get boring after time...but yeah)

$95 - 1000 Berry 9MM (.356) 115gr RN BULLET
$210 - FEDERAL PRIMER SMALL PISTOL 5000/case

So for 1000rnd of reloaded 9mm ammo you are looking at $95 for bullets and $42 for primers and I haven't added in the price of powder yet as to be quite honest I'm not sure what powder is reasonable to specify or the quantity. This is already $137 and assumes you have cases and doesn't include the cost of shipping. How can you reload 1000 rnds for $115?

Prices are from budget shooter supply.

This is what I had wrote in another thread

So I can pick up 1000 rounds of reloaded 9mm for $234... taxes $28.08...shipping roughly $20.00 so my all in on 1000 rounds is $282.08

No if I want to relaod 9mm
$99 for 1000 Berry bullets
$40 for 1000 primers
$40 for a 1lb opf powder
$181...taxes $21.72...shipping say $20.00 so my all in is $222.72

So my savings over 1000 rounds is $59.36...over 5000 rounds thats a difference of $296.80

So factoring in my upgraded press and gear of around $800 its going to take roughly 3 years to pay itself off...just the gear...and I'm still sitting in front of the press using up my time. I'm thinking for 5000 rounds a year my time reloading is worth more then $300.

Now with my son wanting to get into the game the cost is going to go up...so I'm really on the fence here. It would be nice to just order up 5000 rounds of quality 9mm reloaded ammo...Damn I'm seriously over thinking this...

If you add in the cost of replacing the brass periodically, the savings go down yet again. You are looking at about $35+tax for 1000 once fired 9mm casings. Thanks for sharing the nice write-up Outcast.

Wow you guys suck lol. I load aim 124 plated 4.5 grain 231 and cci primers

Projectiles $98/1000
Primers $35/1000
Win 231 $18/1lb
Brass priceless

It costs me roughly $158 tax in for 1000 9mm reloads :p

Aim projectiles is 10 mins from me ..... first

We can hardly keep it on the shelves.

PS I see we have a large number of cases on the floor, but it may be sold. If not it will be listed on the site next week.

is there any corrosive 9mm around these days?

Great info from everyone, however I am geared up for cheap bulk stuff for a no hassle, single purchase and go plink to my hearts content without reload headache. As I'm not going for accuracy I was hoping canam could bring in some bulk stuff. I thought others would need as well but not as many as have responded so far. Again thx everyone for your input.

ISS only had 115grain bullets on sale for $200, not the 124 that I like (even though some experience folks bet I couldn't tell the difference). Cleared out some of their powders along with lots of bullets.

Reliable lineup was a mile long. Too scared to drive to International for fear of icecles on the 3 Billion dollar bridge project, j/k.

Already have enough fun casting for 357 and 45ACP. 9mm is the utility gun.

CRS has Berry 124gn for 79 minus 5% on 5000+, ~$75 115gn is $77
Primers were $30 per 1000 (min 20k, yes, 20,000)
powder was $22 minus 25% off = $16.50/pound. Using 4g = $9.42

Grand total of: $114.47 . As mentioned have to buy in bulk and wait for great sales. All this is sitting in my basement ready for loading:)

PS. Henry from BSS is a great guy to deal with; So is Chris from CA.

I buy factory reloaded 9mm at 22.5 cents per round. Canada ammo doesn't sell it so I won't name the maker, but I've gone through tens of thousands of rounds of this stuff in the past 2-3 years and it runs flawlessly in my shadow.
