Inexpensive non corrosive bulk 9mm anytime soon?

SORRY Chris, we shouldn't be posting reload on CA board so get us cheap 9mm and we won't need to reload :)

For just 9mm get a cheap Lee press for several hundred bucks. It is only 9mm, don't need a fancy press.

Your numbers are way too high across the board.
This is what I had wrote in another thread

So I can pick up 1000 rounds of reloaded 9mm for $234... taxes $28.08...shipping roughly $20.00 so my all in on 1000 rounds is $282.08

No if I want to relaod 9mm
$99 for 1000 Berry bullets
$40 for 1000 primers
$40 for a 1lb opf powder
$181...taxes $21.72...shipping say $20.00 so my all in is $222.72

So my savings over 1000 rounds is $59.36...over 5000 rounds thats a difference of $296.80

So factoring in my upgraded press and gear of around $800 its going to take roughly 3 years to pay itself off...just the gear...and I'm still sitting in front of the press using up my time. I'm thinking for 5000 rounds a year my time reloading is worth more then $300.

Now with my son wanting to get into the game the cost is going to go up...so I'm really on the fence here. It would be nice to just order up 5000 rounds of quality 9mm reloaded ammo...Damn I'm seriously over thinking this...

Brass is FREE from my range. Majority of folks throw away their 9mm brass.
If you add in the cost of replacing the brass periodically, the savings go down yet again. You are looking at about $35+tax for 1000 once fired 9mm casings. Thanks for sharing the nice write-up Outcast.

Great info from everyone, however I am geared up for cheap bulk stuff for a no hassle, single purchase and go plink to my hearts content without reload headache. As I'm not going for accuracy I was hoping canam could bring in some bulk stuff. I thought others would need as well but not as many as have responded so far. Again thx everyone for your input.

I'd go for a couple of cases, pretty sure many others hwo didn't respond to the thread would as well

No, got to be the 9x19 for 9mm luger. The 9x18 was made 9x18 and with a different diameter 9mm bullet on purpose. During the cold war, USA and USSR did not want each other to use captured ammo, they are different dimensions on purpose. For one, you should only shoot the rounds that your weapon is chambered for. Although the casing size is only 1 millimeter difference, the two rounds are actually much more different then their names suggest.

The bullets (projectiles) fired from the 9x18 Makarov are actually larger then the 9x19.
The 9x18 Makarov's bullets are a .365 caliber or 9.3mm. The 9x19 Luger is a .355 caliber bullet.

So again, do NOT shoot 9mm Makarov shells through your 9x19 pistol.

We have 9mm mak barrels coming this year for the G17, other guns if there is interest. We will have a very tasty combo deal with ammo

Hopefully you can offer a stand alone 9x19 bulk ammo deal as well. I'm still interested and willing to purchase a bunch. PM myself if you guys are able. Again thx for listening to consumer requests.

I believe our current price is the lowest in the country, maybe anywhere.

Any package deal for 9mm+Pistol like you have for 1911/45acp?
I would be all over it if offered with NP34 at small discount.
