Inexpensive optic for 22lr upper

I am planning on using an AR15 22lr upper to practice drills ....making my day at the range a bit cheaper.

I am looking for what would be the most economical optic I could use (looking at NcStar optics, but have no faith in them)

I would prefer a scope ......more than a red dot (something 1-4X)

What's the cheapest and reliable optic you have used
