You won't find 8mm Mauser at any Canadian Tire or Wal-Mart but any gunshop worth visiting should stock decently priced 8mm Mauser. PMC and Igman comes to mind. Sellier & Bellot should have some offerings as well. Those three brands are the first I go to for commercial .303 and 7.62x54r. It's quality cheap stuff.

(I have 2 now)the DCRA in nice but you need to look for both versions of the EAL and a CNo7 if you really want ot collect Canadian Enfields
Oh and dont forget there are really 2 variations of DCRA rifles as well, military and civilain.

mausers may be ok but you CAN get ammo for any le rifle at a canadian tire store.
I just Bought a LE jungle carbine (yes its a real one )
I don't know what the green paint is all about

Of course you can get 7.92x57mm Mauser - Districorp has some Igman, about $300 for 500 rds. Not the best stuff but I'm going to pick up about a 100 rds, shoot it and reload the brass for a while.

38 S&W ammo is not always easy to find, but its still manufacutured, I also reload using .357 147grn bullets, they are a little small (.361) but work
LE N05 with green paint, that was a tropical protective paint or some shuch thing. I have soemwhere a lithgow SMLE with the same paint.

No5's were manufactured by Maltby and Fazakerly, RSAF Enfield did not convert No4's to No5's only Bubba did that
