I was looking around bass pros website and I see they have an inflatable doe decoy, and I figured this would be perfect for me as I can simply deflate and put it in my car at the end of the day without fighting for room in my car. Then I came to notice they are sold out, rather then wait does anyone know of anywhere else that sells these?

Also has anyone ever used these, would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on them.

Well, as I said before, the stupid deer, those you can shoot.

A buddy bought one, he usually uses a larger solid bodied fork horn, it has produced animals for him.
He said he is impressed with the looks of this inflatable, he is a big guy, says it takes 4 minutes to bring it from being the size of a couple kleenex boxes to a full doe.
If I were to try a decoy I would choose this one, size is good and I have a lot of faith in my friends opinion.

I saw one of those at wal mart, its smaller then my dog? i dont see how it could attract deer at a distance i would mistake that tiny decoy for a coyote.

If it's that small, it could be taken for a fawn. Might get the deer to think it's safe to wander near if nothing else.
Also, to me anyway, it's weird looking, and deer are curious. But you might see a lot of does. They seem more curious, or just dumber than bucks.

right now money is a little tight for me and I need something that can be transported easily and seeing as it will be my first season hunting I dont want to spend a ton of money right away wanna see what works and what doesnt

Then skip a decoy, there are many other things to learn in your first season, none of which will cost you any money. For instance, a turkey decoy will give the same effect that you are trying to gain by using a smaller doe. It simply instills a level of comfort in a deer. The rut and a challenging buck decoy may be a bit different scenario.
Deer do not have good eyesight to begin with, a stationary decoy may or may not be effective. Deer do have an amazing ability to pick up movement, makes up for the rest of their crappy eyesight.

So, has anyone had the opportunity to try one out to see if it works or not. Might work best during the rut and not before.
