Info needed on belgium muff pistol 1850?

Does anybody have any info on the dates, history of these percussion pistols, I am told they are 1850 41 cal muff pistols, belgium in origin, They seem to have damascus barrels, the lions head on the bottomof the grips opens up to store possibly percussion caps? I hope these pics turn out. Thanks in advance to anybody who could provide some info or send me in the right direction. The pic's are of one pistol all markings appear to be the same on each pistol.

Other than to say that it/they definitely have a belgian proof mark on them, they could have been made anytime between 1830 and 1865 by which time cartridges were starting to come into existenec.
