info needed on Mauser

I just got a K98 Mauser rifle, it's been sporterized, the marking on the top ring indicate tgf (Cz factory) 1950. she also got the "t" in a circle and the crossed swords by the serial number.

she got no sight and no evidence (screw hole, marks...) that she had sight.

the barrel is step tapered and 18 1/2" long

the bolt handle is chromed and curved toward the back ( the other K98 bolt I've seen was straight)

I would like to know if the barrel is cutted, and if it's possible to put iron sight back for a reasonable price.

or any info about the barrel or the bolt handle

tgf sounds like a wartime German occupation-produced receiver. May not have been assembled into a rifle until 1950?

I have a tgf rifle in full garb with the same date. From what I can find out, it was an East German, post war build for their police.
