Hi I am wanting to know if anyone has mounted a Lyman 66w88 sight (1950s vintage)on a Winchester model 100.The sight is made to fit the 100,but I want to know if it will fit right on,or if I first need a mounting bracket,or to drill holes.Thanks for anyones input.

I have a Lyman 66 on one of my M-100s. They fit right on, already D & T for the sites. 88s & 100s are the same! You will definately need a taller front site! I found the taller the front site the more comfortable the gun fits!
