info needed on old gun

i was given and old but in very nice shape gun today.its a sears&robuck .22lr semi automatic.just wondering if you guys can tell me much about this gun and there pros and cons.thankx and i love this site

if it is a Sears 6C model....one model was made in Canada and is like the Cooey 64 series. if USA made, it is completely different model much like the Winchester 490. Either way ..value is approx $150 CDN.

i can see made in canada stamped on the reciver .did they work fairly well for a semi i mean?

The Cooey 64 series worked fine until the mags wear. Then they can become fussy on which ammo they want to cycle. All 5 of mine like the 333 Winchester ammo, perhaps because of the copper coating .
